The causes of chronic pulmonary disease can be divided into two categories: genetic, such as cystic fibrosis, some forms of asthma, and Alpha 1; or the toll taken by the environment  or smoking as a person ages,  including COPD and lung cancer. Cardiovascular disease can interfere with a person's ability to breathe as well. Using supplemental oxygen greatly enhances the quality of life for a person living with any of the above conditions, but there can be drawbacks, such as the size of the cylinders and arranging for their delivery.

Rehabmart offers four models of HomeFill Oxygen Compressor by Invacare that support people living with pulmonary challenges in leading independent, active lives, enjoying daily events such as eating out, attending functions with family or friends, or simply running errands and keeping appointments. The system includes a concentrator the draws on the air in the environment to deliver oxygen to the user, and components for bottling oxygen for times when the person is out and about.

All four models provide an unlimited supply of oxygen to the person using it. He or she uses the concentrator to deliver oxygen during sleep or while enjoying time at home, and thanks to a coupler, can fill tanks for intended use away from the house. The cylinders range from the size of a water bottle all the way up to the average sized models that would be delivered by a medical supply house. The built- in protection ensures that the oxygen is 90% pure. Since the patient can fill the oxygen bottles from the concentrator, the need for their delivery is eliminated, reducing the costs of long-term treatment.

The basic model of the HomeFill Oxygen Compressor has an output of up to three liters a minute. It can fill bottles ranging from M2 up to D with oxygen from any compatible five or ten liter concentrator. The controls and connections are designed for ease of operation, and the patient can continue to receive oxygen while filling the bottles from the concentrator.

In only twenty-four minutes, the Perfecto2 will concentrate enough oxygen from a compatible compressor to fill an M2 sized bottle. It comes with a HomeFill compressor, a convenience pack featuring an ML4 bottle and integrated conservers, and a carrying bag and a convenient rack for holding filled bottles.

For patients who need to use an ML6 bottle, upgraded accessories such as a carrying bag, cylinder couplings, and replacement tubing are available. The bottle will fill in about 55 minutes.

M9 users can fill their bottles in just under two hours. As with the previous models, accessories including couplings, carrying bags, and tubing.

Ensuring delivery of the oxygen to the patient are high flow nasal cannulas. They come in cases of twenty-five, and fit each model.

As the population ages, chronic health challenges become more common. The HomeFill products support patients who develop these respiratory health issues, ensuring that they enjoy life as fully as possible with every breath that they take.
