Helping individuals with mobility challenges make the move from a wheelchair to a bed or to a toilet, or helping them get to a standing position can be tricky and uncomfortable for both the patients and the caregivers. For the patient, there's the risk of injury from incorrect body alignment during the transfer or getting dropped; for the caregivers, there's the risk of back injury that comes with lifting the patient. To minimize those risks, either a motorized or a manual patient lift may be used. Rehabmart offers the Molift Quick Raiser 2 Plus Patient Lift to assist in smooth, safe transfers for the patient and the caregiver.

With its straight inclined column, Quick Raiser 2 was designed to follow the natural movement of a user's body.  Its base is low enough to fit under most chairs and beds, and it can be electronically adjusted to increase stability by spreading its legs to widen its footprint as well as making it suitable for use in rooms of varying sizes. When used with the Easy Raiser Sling (sold separately), it becomes an invaluable aid for use in the lavatory, allowing the patient to keep his or her dignity intact while tending to hygienic matters or even while getting dressed or disrobing.  Adding to patient comfort and safety are adjustable leg rests with changeable pads to further support from either the front or the back.

The Quick Raiser 2 is powered by an ecologically friendly NiMH battery that recharges in about three hours. Integrated software monitors usage to determine when the Quick Raiser 2 needs annual inspections and notifies users if service is needed at other times while tracking usage statistics. The frame is constructed from steel and aluminum for durability and sturdiness, giving it a safe lifting capacity of 440 pounds, making it suitable for patients of any age and almost any size. Cleaning involves an easy wipe down with a low-Ph cleaner and a soft cloth to avoid scratching.

Available accessories and options allow the Quick Lift 2 to be adapted for a wide range of users. For children or shorter users weighing up to 165 pounds, a footboard may be attached to raise the height of the platform. To prevent the feet from moving while executing the lift, sandals in a choice of three sizes may be attached to the foot rests. Extra soft knee pads assure the comfort of users with sensitive legs. Knee rests come in a choice of large or small to adapt to users of varying heights and weights.

Whether mobility issues are caused by injury, chronic neurological problems, bariatric issues, recovery from illness or surgery, or aging-related challenges, the Quick Raiser 2 is sturdy enough to handle nearly any user, consistently and reliably. Thanks to its small footprint and adaptability, it makes a good addition to private homes, therapy centers, rehab centers, and residential care facilities.
