It is the month of May and the flowers are now blooming and preening while bobbing about in the sun and wind of nature, and the kids will soon be following the lead of the flowers, themselves running and playing outside amongst the grass and fields of play.

Exercise, especially outdoor exercise, is very important to the development of the bodies and minds of children. Getting children away from the computer, iPad, iPhone, and television screens is important. Outdoor exercise helps to build up muscles, helps with balance, creates better interaction with other children, allows children to feel the freedom of running and jumping, and even learning the experience of the pain of falling down, scraping knees and elbows, and then getting back up to continue in what they were doing before.
