As I write this, I realize that I am slightly straining my eyes and all too often have tired eyes after spending time writing, reading, or working on my hobby.  I have glasses and wear them all the time, and I make sure that I am in a well-lighted area and take the time out to rest my eyes at regular intervals.  Yet I am, like millions of other aging baby-boomers, experiencing my mortal coil becoming ever more mortal as it slowly unravels in these later years of my life. As much as we would like to continue with our zest for action and keeping the bounce in our step, our bodies silently and gently shy away from the power of youthfulness and slips into a companionship with minor aches and pains combined with a touch of aged-induced deterioration.
