Heat Therapy with a TDP Mineral Lamp
Infrared light technology is becoming ever more popular in our modern world, and scientists are constantly finding new uses and applications for this electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength longer than that of visible light. Far-infrared, also known as "FIR" is quickly gaining popularity as a safe heat therapy method of natural health care and physiotherapy and is used in a wide variety of therapeutic products, from infrared saunas to infrared clothing.
One of the best and most effective forms of FIR heat therapy is the TDP Mineral Lamp. This wonderful invention combines the therapeutic heating emissions of the infrared radiation with a special blend of minerals that are coated on the plate of the lamp. The infrared lamp heats the mineral plate, which is positioned over specific areas on the user's body for specific amounts of time. This product helps to increase micro-circulation and loosens fascia and soft tissue to accelerate the natural healing processes of the body. It is similar to moxibustion, which is a traditional Chinese medical therapy that uses burning moxa sticks (made of mugwort) to help get heat and proper circulation back into the body. This therapy is often used in conjunction with acupuncture for pain relief, and for people with chronic health issues, or for weakened individuals. It is best utilized by people who have "coldness" kinds of health issues and helps to get energy moving the way it should through the body, which in theory leads to wellness.
Many people are bothered by the smell of the burning moxa stick, however, and the TDP Mineral Lamp is a perfect substitute as it emits no smell at all. The user also receives the full spectrum of the minerals present on the mineral plate, which are absorbed into the body along with the FIR heat for more total therapy. TDP stands for "Teding Diancibo Pu" which basically means special electromagnetic spectrum. The TDP mineral lamp was first invented by Gou Wenbin in China in 1978 and was subsequently exhibited at the 1986 Zagreb International Fair in Yugoslavia and at the 1986 Brussels Eureka World Fair for Invention.
The story behind the invention is based upon a discovery of workers in a black clay factory in rural China, where in spite of a work environment where they were constantly exposed to extremes of cold, wet and heat, they had a very low incidence of illness. The differentiating factor was determined to be the beneficial FIR from the hot clay, which was of course full of minerals as well. Once invented, the TDP Mineral Lamp has been proven with clinical evidence to reduce inflammation and pain, improve micro-circulation, balance metabolism, promote healthy immunity, activate enzymes and promote cell growth, reproduction and repair.
The desktop model (CQ12) is lightweight and more easily portable, making it perfect for traveling with you wherever you go. The diameter of the mineral plate is 5.5 inches and this lamp also features a 60 minute timer, and 3 hinged adjustment points providing more flexibility on aiming the lamp where you need it. The floor model (CQ35) has a five point base with casters and an adjustable height of 12 inches to 60 inches above the floor. The device head can be tilted up to 90 degrees, with a 360 degree rotation, and the telescoping post has a 12 inch adjustment. The diameter of the mineral plate is 7 inches, and the floor model also comes with a 95 minute timer and LCD display for easier viewing and control.
Both models of the TDP Mineral Lamp offer an emission plate life of 1,200 to 1,500 hours with an ability to purchase replacement mineral plates when needed. The floor model actually notifies you when it is time to change the plate. Besides the health benefits listed above, both of these models also promote healthy lymphatic function by encouraging the removal of toxins from the cells. These lamps are ideal for all kinds of health issues including arthritis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, bursitis and many other kinds of sports, repetitive and/or overexertion injuries, along with other health issues such as auto-immune disorders and toxicity.
So take advantage of this proven, FDA-approved form of heat therapy and experience the health benefits that far-infrared light and minerals can provide for you. This therapy doesn't have to be an ancient Chinese secret anymore!
