This is a highly preferable transfer method as clinical studies have proven that a greater than 40% reduction in pull force is required when using a combination of a mobility sheet and transfer slide, as opposed to a standard draw sheet transfer. Reducing pull force means less opportunity of injury to the caregiver, which translates to a safer method of transfer for the patient, as well.

The SafetySure® Super Slide from MTS has a 400 pound weight capacity, is completely machine washable, and has the added benefit of  both the gurney and the slide being able to be used separately if desired.
