Necessity is indeed such a wonderful mother of invention. When printing industry engineer and executive Arthur Friedman needed a good portable light solution and couldn't find one to fulfill those needs already on the market, he simply created his own. His Beam N Read® Hands Free Lights helped launch his successful ASF Lightware Solutions company, and Friedman has been awarded 18 different patents for his designs and inventions, including patents on the design of the Beam N Read®. This brilliant device offers personal light wherever and whenever you need it, but it won't disturb others in the vicinity.
Particularly well suited for reading, craft work, art projects, sewing and knitting, travel and camping, this hands-free light is also perfect for the elderly and individuals with special needs, especially those with low vision and/or hand-related challenges. The Beam N Read® is available in three basic models at Rehabmart: The Beam N Read Hands-Free Light; the Beam N Read Hand-Free Night Vision Light; and the Beam N Read Hands-Free Reading Light. All three models can be used with an AC or DC power adapter which are sold separately, and four AA batteries are included that offer a battery life of 120 hours when three bulbs are used, or 50 hours when six bulbs are used.
Worn comfortably around the neck, these hands-free lights offer a versatile light that can be used for an unlimited range of purposes. The adjustable reflector and comfortable elastic neck strap make it easy for the user to point the light wherever it is most needed. The bright LED bulbs illuminate a wide personal area and are compatible for use with all brands of e-readers as well as with printed text in books, newspapers and magazines. The basic Beam N Read® Hands-Free Light offers three LED bulbs, while the Beam N Read® Night Vision Light and the Beam N Read® Reading Light both offer six LED bulbs.
