The Doctor's Office Series, Part 2:  Blood Drawing Chairs

The way I look at it, if a person is willing to sit down in a chair so someone can puncture his skin with a needle and slip it into his vein to take some blood, it helps immensely if the chair is clean, functional, and comfortable.  Looking at it from the phlebotomist's point of view, if drawing blood from twenty, fifty or a hundred people a day, it certainly helps if the blood drawing chair is the right height and size too.

The uncomfortably named 'blood drawing chair' or 'blood chair' is an important piece of medical furniture in a doctor's office or facility.  Being stuck with needles and watching their life-blood being extracted is not the most pleasant thought for many people. A high quality professional blood drawing chair can make this moment of fear as quick and painless as possible.

A good, sturdy blood drawing chair can make the medical technician's difficult job of blood drawing easier too.  Having a sturdy foundation, good height, strong armrest, and an easy-to-clean surface is important within a medical office.  A happier and more comfortable nurse or phlebotomist is much better for the patient than someone who is frustrated and tired of the back pain due to blood chairs that are too low or unsteady.

In this second installment of the series called 'The Doctor's Office', Rehabmart is proud to offer a fine selection of blood drawing chairs.  The following chairs are but a few of the many blood drawing chairs that we offer.

So if you are either phlebotomist or patient, having a professional blood drawing chair is essential for the comfort and duty of both.  When giving blood to help save others or to find out about personal health concerns, it is always better to have this task done in a medically professional environment with a correct piece of medical equipment. And the right piece of equipment for this job would be a blood drawing chair from Rehabmart.
