Hydrotherapy and Whirlpools

Ah, nothing beats the stress and pain relieving qualities of submersing yourself into a whirlpool.  Professional grade whirlpools in medical, rehabilitative, sports and fitness facilities are used to help people with all kinds of health issues including poor circulation, lymphatic system circulation, work related pain, headaches, sports injuries, muscle aches, broken bones, burn therapy, wound care, connective tissue disorders, post surgery rehab and stress relief.  After enjoying such wonderful therapy at these professional facilities, many of us have often wished we could take the whirlpool home with us.  Well now Rehabmart can help make that wish come true by offering a fabulous variety of mobile whirlpools that you can use in your own home...or wherever you may roam!

      The turbine provides the whirlpool agitation and mounts on a variable height post.  When the tank has been emptied, it can be easily removed from the stand for cleaning by raising the turbine to its highest position.  Constructed of heavy gauge steel tubing with a durable epoxy finish, the sturdy stand keeps the filled tank in place with locking caster wheels and also makes this whirlpool easy to transport when the tank has been drained.  Adjust the tank height with the convenient lift mechanism; the up position extends to 21 inches from the floor, while the down position can adjust to just 6 inches from the floor.

For the ultimate therapeutic whirlpool experience, check out the Dakon DS Mobile Whirlpool, Model 6018.  Highly recommended for the treatment of extremities, hip and back areas, this amazing whirlpool has a tank capacity of 90 gallons of water, making it perfect for exercise as well.  Features include an amazingly quiet turbine that will also reverse water flow with the simple flip of a lever.  The sump feature reduces residual water and eliminates the need for a drain.

       The Dakon DS 6018 tank is fabricated from heavy gauge, type 304 stainless steel, polished to a satin finish, while a concealed stainless steel rod reinforces the tank rim.  The seamless, rounded and covered tank bottom design helps to minimize bacteria buildup.  The turbine assembly functions as both the water agitator and emptying device in addition to providing adjustment of desired height and direction of water agitation towards the areas of the body to be treated.  A thermometer is included with a dual scale, adjustable calibration and will not rattle during whirlpool agitation.  The heavy duty swivel caster wheels make it easy to move this empty whirlpool wherever you want it to go, while the rear casters are lockable to keep the full whirlpool securely in place when it is being used.

       Another great idea for whirlpool therapy is the Hausmann Hydrotherapy Chair.  This versatile and durable chrome plated steel chair is perfect to use in leg and hip whirlpool tanks to specifically help with lower extremity problems and issues.  The padded vinyl seat and back help to maintain comfort, while the safety belt helps to keep the patient securely in place.  The adjustable chair height allows seat positioning just above the tank rim. Safety is further enforced by the steel footstep that features a non-slip mat covering, and rear locking casters.
