Rehabmart offers a leg warming product, the Warming Vaso-Wraps®, that is non-pharmacological, doesn’t use any electrical wires or heating elements, no batteries, has no need for elastic or ties which can reduce leg circulation, has no buttons, snaps, zippers or laces to tie, and can easily be put on or taken off, even while the wearer is in a wheelchair.

Once a user puts on the Warming Vaso-Wraps®, their cold legs will start to feel comfortable and warm within seconds. Made with soft quilted nylon, the Warming Vaso- Wraps® simply wrap around the individual’s lower legs, providing moist, therapeutic warmth by entrapping and insulating the body’s natural heat. Being one of the only FDA Registered medical devices that a doctor can recommend to patients to safely warm their legs while they sleep, Vaso-Wraps® use a simple non-pharmacological and non-invasive technique that helps relieve poor leg circulation, cold legs, leg cramps and night pain.

Sometimes wheelchairs just don’t fit right. No, I’m not talking about the wheelchair fitting the user, although that does happen, but I mean that many times a wheelchair either doesn’t fit underneath a table or desk, making it difficult to do homework, read, or use a computer for the wheelchair user. There are specific wheelchair-fitted trays but many times they need to latch on to the arms of the wheelchair, basically blocking any side-reaching movement for the user, and often the trays are big, heavy wooden objects that are difficult to put on and take off the wheelchair.

It seems that the next generation wheelchair table is here and Rehabmart is proud to offer it to the public. The Scotty Kristen Wheelchair Tray is a portable tray that a wheelchair user can use where and when they need it. Made with lightweight yet highly durable composites, this tray is not mounted on the arms like most other trays but instead fits under the wheelchair cushions, giving wheelchair users side access and allowing the wheelchair user to have the armrest on the wheelchair or not. Using a straight pedestal rising up from the seat cushion and a flat top that offers easy portable mountings of books, communication devices, or computers, this wheelchair tray is very user friendly. There is also a choice of trays available in either a flat table surface or a more bookshelf style to hold a book. With each link on the pedestal being adjustable, this offers a wide range of comfort for the user and the easy and quick removal of the tray is a big help too. Additionally there are a number of accessories for a wheelchair user to use, such as an umbrella mount, a fishing rod mount and a cup-holder. See the video below for a good look on how this 21st century wheelchair tray works.

With the average age of the American population growing older and other factors such as hotter weather, allergies, and generally more air pollution in certain parts of the country, having a portable emergency oxygen pack around isn’t a bad idea.

Rehabmart can now offer that breath of fresh air with the LIFE OxygenPac and the LIFE SoftPac Emergency Oxygen. These oxygen units were made with easy access and portability in mind. The LIFE OxygenPac is a wall-mounted emergency oxygen unit that can be used in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, public and government buildings, and even at home. With a small footprint, about the size of a fire extinguisher, and having an attractively designed look, this oxygen pac can fit and look stylish just about anywhere and is easy to use with its clear cover and 2-step instructions. It also comes with an easy to carry handle, making it portable. The LIFE OxygenPac can be used as a resuscitator for non-breathing victims, and also be used as an inhalator to enhance breathing for individuals requiring supplemental oxygen. There is a model with a variable-flow setting recommended for use by emergency medical techs or medical personnel, and a model with a two flow setting that is more usable in a public place, workplace or home environment. The OxygenPac also comes with a constant reading supply gauge and a LIFE CPR mask that can fit either children or adults.

The portable LIFE SoftPac Emergency Oxygen unit comes in a portable carrying case. This easy-to-carry and lightweight unit comes in two models that have a 40-minute supply of oxygen at 6 liters per minute. Ideal to combine with an AED defibrillator, for use during CPR, and to administer oxygen before fibrillation or after a successful defibrillation, this unit is simple to use with a two-step instruction that is clearly printed on the outside of the SoftPac. This unit also comes in two models, one for the workplace and home, or a model recommended for trained EMTs. This unit itself will not expire and is not temperature sensitive, making it a low-maintenance and less expensive oxygen unit.

Rehabmart is offering the exciting and long-awaited Snug Seat Etac Cross 5 Wheelchair that is basically a ‘one-size-fits-all’ wheelchair. Everything that can be adjusted for the differently sized users can be adjusted easily and quickly. The seat is adjustable, the backrest is adjustable, the angles of each can be adjustable, the shape and height of both can be adjustable, and the footrest? Yep, adjustable. And this very stable, 298 pound person-carrying molded-framed wheelchair which will not bend and flex highlights other options such as 36+2 rear wheel positions for setting the rear seat height and the center of gravity in the way that is most comfortable for the present user.

The idea behind the Etac Cross 5 Wheelchair is to have a wheelchair to grow with a person or to have an adjustable multi-used wheelchair within a facility or school. The Etac Cross 5 has a stable frame and can comfortably seat people of varying sizes and heights. With the unique seat and backrest being adjustable in height, shape and angle combined with size conforming footrests, this wheelchair is unlike most others. Extra low seat height can be achieved with easy adjustments and the easy Lille Viking mounting attachment points are also part of the wheelchair.

The seat back offers a triangular backrest with hip and lumbar angle adjustments enabled with a simple twist of an Allen key. Use a higher rear wheel setting to achieve a lower seat height, and a setting of the horizontal influence can change the center of gravity, helping the wheelchair to propel more easily. The Etac Cross 5 drum brakes add a convenience for the caregiver pushing the wheelchair and the highly visible red-capped brake handle is located on the outside of the frame for quicker handling. The Etac Cross 5 also comes with attachment points that are built into the side frame for mounting various accessories.
