The Kimba Cross Pediatric Positioning Stroller is designed with comfort in mind for the differently abled child. It has a low center of gravity with spring shock absorbers and pneumatic tires to ensure a smooth, comfortable ride. The three-wheeled design sporting chrome and upholstery in a choice of four colors looks as sleek and modern as a sports car. It is suitable for the caregiver to take the child with him or her on a run as well as for walks on pavement or other level surfaces.

To provide a custom fit, the length and width of the seat can be adjusted, as can the height of the back and the lower leg rest. Depending on the child's needs, the seat comes with the choice of a vertical or a reclining back. A variety of cushions and pads are available to ensure optimal positioning and support. Belt systems are available as well, including a butterfly harness that goes across the child's chest from the sides, preventing potential problems with tracheostomy tubes or the discomfort of a strap coming too close to the child's face. The upholstery and matching sunshade come in several different vibrant colors with woven-in smiley faces.

 
Convenience and comfort for the caregiver were kept in mind with the Cross' design.  The push bar can be adjusted to accommodate a range of heights, and the drum brake has hand controls for easy slowdowns and stops. The standard front wheel can be interchanged with the swiveling wheel for ease and comfort of use whether on an excursion to the mall or out for a hike through the woods. In addition, the frame can be reconfigured so the Cross can be used as a bike trailer, allowing more recreational opportunities for the caregiver and exposure to new experiences for the child. The frame easily folds up for ease of placement in a car or SUV. The Cross is also compliant with current transportation standards thanks to tie-down points for use in public transportation.

The Cross comes with the stroller base, an integrated seat and back, head rest, sunshade, and seat adapter to facilitate use with other bases for use as a wheel chair or a home therapy chair. Options include positioning pads, belt packages, vent trays, oxygen tank holders and IV stands, as well as modifications to accommodate issues such as hamstring contractures and positioning trays to help the child stay upright and perform therapeutic activities.
